Category Manager : Based Hayes or Leeds What the job entails This role is all about providing real Category Thought Leadership and aligning it with retailers' commercial objectives. It means you'll need to shape and develop strong, long-lasting trust-based relationships that hold up outside of the commercial discussion and decision-making process. Above all, you'll build sustainable and profitable category growth that exceeds market forecasts, and sits alongside retailers' own category development goals. This is about championing Heinz and helping us to increase our market share. Who we're looking for A role like this takes more than just great customer-facing skills. You need plenty of category analysis management experience too, and ideally knowledge of AC Nielson, IRI and TNS. You will be analytical, but also be commercially sound. Your background will be in another retail and consumer-focused industry, and you'll be up to speed on Retail Link and other relevant syndicated data. More than that, you can turn data into insight, insight into actionable recommendations, and actionable recommendations into results. Your background will be in a high caliber branded FMCG business and you will be up to speed on data manipulation. We'll also be looking for a knowledge of grocery retailers from working in a customer facing role, we need of MS Office and space planning software excellent communication and influencing skills and a real flair for analysis. |
