Category Manager - Up to £44,000 plus package - South East/Home Counties/London

As a leading supplier of branded snacks, this business holds number 1 or 2 position within the categories it supplies, with an unrivalled portfolio of brands. With a strong performance over the last four years the business has a great platform for future growth and is targeting doubling in size in the next four years. As they set out on this next phase of growth an opportunity now exists for a dynamic Category Manager.

You will be the insights champion and will be responsible for initiating and implementing effective category strategies across all the trade partners. Utilising all the data and continuous research at your disposal and taking specific responsibility for the development of strategic category plans with the Impulse and Convenience channel. The successful applicant will provide both internal and external insights that ensure the business is established as a category authority.

With a clear vision and strategy, the role is integral to developing their reputation as category experts and you will provide the authority, based on an expert understanding of both the consumer's and trade requirements.

With a classically trained blue chip background, you will be a highly motivated and ambitious individual with a minimum of two years experience in a similar role. You will have a clear understanding of the entire category process and will be able to demonstrate implementation of category plans that have made significant difference to business performance.
