Electrical Systems Engineer - £30,000 - £38,000 + excellent benefits package - East Midlands

An outstanding engineering opportunity has arisen with one of the UK's leading food manufacturers, based in the East Midlands. With a product range that includes some of the most recognised brands, and a customer base that includes the major retailers and the food service sector, they are a true force in the manufacturing industry and one of the leaders in their sector.  As part of their future growth plans, they are seeking to recruit a Senior Electrical Systems Engineer to help drive the engineering strategy forward across a number of key manufacturing sites.

Reporting to Chief Engineer, the successful Electrical Systems Engineer will form a key part in the engineering team and be tasked with delivering improvements through standardization and capital projects.  You will also be responsible for maintaining the plant SCADA systems, and identifying opportunities for improved control and production information. In short you will be integral to the future success of the business.

Skills: Engineering Management, Project Management, Food or FMCG manufacturing experience, electrically biased, PLCs, SCADA, PLC

You will need to have performed a similar role within the food industry and have experience in programming PLCs and microprocessor-based control equipment for major projects. You must also be able to demonstrate good working knowledge of SCADA systems, PC programmes and networks.
