Factory Manager - £70,000 + package - East Anglia

Our client is multi-national food manufacturing group, with an extensive manufacturing network across the UK supplying both retail and foodservice. With a commitment to quality and further investment across the group over the past few years the business is now in a prime position to move forward. As a result of this, they now want to recruit a Factory Manager to run their one of their key sites, based in East Anglia.

Reporting into the Operations Director, as the Site Manager, your main remit will be to manage and motivate a team to deliver high quality product in a pressurised environment to low margins. You should be focused on creating a proactive, questioning workforce, with the role being viewed as a stepping-stone to greater things within the group. You should be well versed in lean manufacturing, have exposure to retail customers and large scale project management experience.

Of graduate calibre, you will need to have a proven track record of managing large multi-functional production teams within a fast paced, high-volume, chilled food manufacturing environment. The successful candidates will possess excellent people management skills, be customer focused and be experienced at monitoring operational performance using KPI's.
