National Account Manager - M&S - £40,000 - £45,000 plus benefits - West Midlands/home-based
This own label desserts business are entering a new and exciting period of growth. With reinvestment across the range the focus is on customer delivery and reinjecting energy into the category.
A proven National Account Manager is needed to manage and develop the M&S account focusing on developing own label frozen desserts. You are required to lead manage and develop the account, responsible for the achievement of volume, profit and net revenue for Marks & Spencer.
Responsibilities:
The opportunity to drive the own label desserts category forward with the objective of maintaining and developing a close working relationship. You will direct all strategic account development and be responsible for maximising sales and ensuring product availability. Reporting into a Customer Director, you will sit within the team of National Account Managers.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Proven in FMCG national accounts, ideally with experience of managing M&S
An own label specialist within the food industry
Experience working closely with factories, NPD and technical
Ideally have classical training in a medium/large FMCG business
Managed a significant P&L
Superb relationship building skills
Strongly analytical with exceptional influencing skills
Strong negotiation skills at Head Office level within the FMCG sector
Depth of understanding in category management and ability to apply this
A positive and 'can do' attitude
