Part Time Nectar Analyst - Circa £25,000 pro rata plus package - London/South
This leading branded food business are leaders in major food categories, their brands are remarkable iconic brands that will resonate with every family in Great Britain today.
In order to help shape strategy and continue to be category leaders they are recruiting a part time Customer Analyst to work three days a week to help shape insight within the customer teams. The Customer Insight Analyst position is a newly created role designed to provide insight into the grocery customer team to influence and shape category strategies.
You will provide an effective resource to support account managers and recommend corrective action to help deliver the cross category customer business plan. You will identify existing and new data from external sources to improve customer and category performance. Specifically working in line with Sainsburys you will use Nectar data effectively to demonstrate a valuable return on investment. Supporting the category and customer teams in the achievement of NPD listings and distribution targets through improved merchandising and space allocation.
Ultimately you will provide analysis and interpretation and recommendation of ranging, promotions and merchandising opportunities.
To be successful in this role you will be:
Highly numerate, with the ability to analyse and interpret market, customer and financial information, identifying key trends and able to extract pertinent data.
You will be working within an FMCG environment currently or working for a continuous data agency and have commercial exposure.
You will understand the principles of category management
You will be proven in working to project timescales
Comfortable presenting and communicating internally and externally
Highly analytical, with strong computer skills on excel.
Experience of data manipulation, experience on Oracle, Cognos and customer databases such as Retail Link, T.I.E would be an advantage.
