An excellent opportunity has arisen within a leading retailer who is seeking a Senior Buyer to join their dynamic and expanding team in Hertfordshire to have responsibility for a dynamic category.
The successful buyer must have demonstrable experience of buying a large category. Your responsibilities as the buyer will be to source great product, all cost price negotiation and supplier management, this is across branded and own label products.
Ideally you will have marketing expertise as you will deliver key input into the marketing programme.
Skills: hands on buying experience is essential, strong negotiation skills, excellent communicator, you will thrive in a fast paced yet relaxed environment.
