Our client:

  • We are working with a trusted provider of regulatory and compliance advice to the Food & Drink and Retail sectors
  • They work collaboratively with their clients to provide expert advice, training, and consultation services across all aspects of food law, product innovation, new market expansion; to ensure clients & end consumers make safe, informed choices
  • They are now recruiting an Account Controllerto manage one to the UK’s leading Retailers, to co-ordinate all aspects of the service to ensure their needs are met

The role:

  • As Account Controlleryou will build a professional, approachable team (2-3 Account Managers) who love what they do, are open to new ideas and take an honest, straight forward approach to delivering exceptional service
  • Surrounded by a versatile team of experts with a unique blend of manufacturing, retail, enforcement and commercial experience to provide advice, you will nurture the client relationship, optimise opportunities and deliver against identified targets
  • Key will be building a client partnership mentality, always seeking to consolidate connections and build confidence & trust within the client base in order to grow client advocacy
  • Within this role you will constantly seek a seat at the top table! Having the ear and respect of senior Retail contacts advising them with ‘Right First Time’ information

 

Ideal candidate:

  • Ideally, you’ll have operated with major retail customers within a National Account Management role in the Food Industry
  • Hold degree level educational qualifications in food or regulatory subject with sound technical knowledge, or able to demonstrate excellent relevant experience
  • In-depth regulatory and/or technical knowledge in area of responsibility, including codes of practice, policies and guidance
  • Previous successful hires had National Account Management experience within innovative, Own-label food areas where pace, innovation and technical operations understanding is high

 

Benefits & details:

  • £50-60k plus package
  • South East based role on site at Retailer H/O
