Role:

  • We are looking for a Business Account Manager to be a key part of one our Grocery Customer teams to lead the interface between our client and the customer, and the achievement of Company sales whilst maintaining and developing the growth of our brands within Ocado.
  • You will have enthusiasm and ambition combined with a high level of technical skills such as selling, negotiation, forecasting and commercial awareness as well as the ability to drive high levels of Customer intimacy.
  • The Business Account Manager will have daily interaction with other functions within the business, applicants will need to demonstrate success in working as part of a cross functional team.

Ideal Candidate

  • Proven successful experience at National Account Manager level (or similar) within a branded FMCG business selling to Grocery Multiples, for at least 2 trading cycles.
  • Strong understanding and experience of UK retail trade.
  • Understanding of category management process and awareness of how to use the process to

generate wins for the business.

  • You will have confidence and the ability to develop and present compelling sales opportunities internally and externally
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience of delivering results through working in cross-functional teams
  • Exposure or understanding of consumer marketing.
  • You will approach work in a planned and prioritised manner and be highly ambitious and proactive!
