National Account Manager – Morrisons & Iceland

c£47k base (DOE) plus car & bonus

Hybrid working – office located in West Midlands

 

Our client:

  • A leading UK Chilled Foods supplier operating across both branded and private label supply
  • Their brands play a major role within the categories they operate in and from a PL perspective they have some very strong long term (3yr) partnerships in play
  • With a clear vision for growth in the next five years and a strong team culture that allows individuals to grow and develop
  • In fact, they are now looking to hire a National Account Manager as a result of promotion

 

The role:

  • We are looking for a National Account Manager to manage two major retail customers in Morrison’s & Iceland
  • Working alongside the Commercial Controller you will be. responsible for shaping and delivering successful JBPs and Promotional Strategies as well as managing account budgets and investment.
  • Managing customer relationships for both brand and own label portfolios.
  • Using innovation for new business and gain partnership status on key accounts.
  • This role will offer a high level of autonomy with lots of opportunity to hone your commercial capabilities and you’ll have license to think and behave creatively to deliver growth across your accounts, the business and also yourself!

 

Ideal candidate:

  • Will have experience in National Accounts, ideally operating within large customer agreements
  • Understands both brand and own label.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, as well as strong numeracy skills.
  • Is driven in their career and wants to progress into the Top 4 retailers.
