There was a need for Spar UK to develop their own online brand strategy, to align their social channels and develop a relevant and worthy digital voice for the brand. Our client did not have the senior digital skills in-house to fulfil the role and so they came to us in February 2018 to help them find the right person.
We searched our database and network for candidates with the right mix of seniority and digital brand development experience and found that the role was being offered at a salary bracket too low to engage with the right audience. After hearing this market insight, the client agreed to meet with an active and enthusiastic candidate who we knew would deliver the results they needed, but who had higher salary expectations.
The candidate was indeed perfect for Spar UK and impressed them so much she was offered her desired salary within 8 days of meeting them. The whole process was completed in just a fortnight. We have since also recruited a more junior digital marketer for Spar UK to expand this team, and continue to be their preferred recruitment partner.
