Senior National Account Manager – Non-Food

  • Products are innovative, unique and tailored specifically for the retailers across a mix of brand & private-label
  • Business supply a number of key retail channels including grocery, department stores, online and garden centre groups
  • Culturally it’s a supportive, inclusive business with strong values and can demonstrate a number of long-standing employees
  • Placing high emphasis on ethical practices with all overseas suppliers and ensuring products are manufactured with sustainability in mind

 

The role:

  • Responsible for managing and developing a number of existing UK retail accounts. This is likely to include Dunelm, Top 4 grocers, Next and JLP depending on experience
  • Need to work in a collaborative manner with all customers, develop and nurture long-term relationships
  • Be entrepreneurial, a self-starter and able to make an impact in an small business
  • Work closely with all other areas of the company including product development, sourcing and marketing
  • Work autonomously, be self-sufficient and comfortable working independently

 

Ideal candidate:

  • Will need to have strong previous national account management experience in a non-food category
  • If you have operated in housewares, gifting, home furnishings or a similar industry this role would be a great fit
  • Experience of managing a mix of high street/grocery retailers would be beneficial particularly Tesco or Dunelm
  • Comfortable in a product driven, creative and collaborative small business environment
  • Able to hit the ground running and add value quickly

 

Benefits & details:

  • Up to £55,000 basic
  • Car allowance, commission scheme and wider benefits
  • Role is fully home-based with UK travel to customers and occasionally to head office when required
