The role:

  • This is a UK Sales Manager position reporting directly into the MD managing all UK sales
  • The role requires someone comfortable managing large national accounts but also happy to service & build relationships with smaller, regional based retailers
  • You will oversee all UK sales strategy, be able to develop existing relationships along with spotting new business opportunities
  • Work in line with the new strategy of the business, keeping consumer trends in mind – ecological awareness, healthy living & sustainability
  • As UK Sales Manager you will need to be a great communicator, team player and able to make a real impact
  • Opportunity to build a sales team around this role as the business grows

 

Ideal candidate:

  • Experience of managing a varied level of retailers, regional customers but also exposure to key or national accounts
  • Experience of operating in a non-food consumer goods branded environment or aligned category.
  • Be operating at UK Sales Manager, National Account, Field Sales Manager or Business Development level
  • Experience of managing bio supermarkets, health stores or department stores would be beneficial
  • Need to be strategic, customer orientated and be able to have a large influence on an SME environment
  • A passion for the environment, sustainability and healthy living would be beneficial
  • Ambitious, career driven and on an upward career curve

Location wise – Candidates need to be London or South East based. Commutable to head office 3 days per week. Also willing to travel and be out on the road visiting customers.
